Now to the main focus. For about 2 years now I have been trading low-value penny stocks to varying degrees of success or failure. I started out hoping to make a quick buck. Some trades went well, some trades went horribly wrong. It was a journey of ups and downs but through the course of my adventures i learned quite a few things.
After the first few months of muddling my way through trades, I started to realize certain patterns, and, above all, I started getting gut feelings that began to lead me in good directions. A few of my friends began to ask for advice on the topic of stocks, and after receiving it some would go so far as to suggest that I write an article, or in some way dig deeper into my intuition of market movements. This is my attempt to realize that.
The purpose of this blog, I have decided, is not to encourage anyone who reads it to invest in any particular stock or currency, but simply to show exactly what I do and when to turn my profits and make a living as a self-taught college dropout.
To prove legitimacy, in the interim before I acquire good screen viewing software to make videos of trades, I will be screenshotting the exact moment and point of entry as I buy a particular stock. I will then, upon selling, screen shot the exact moment and price of exit.
Each buy post will contain my reasons for buying and why I am expecting the stock to rise in value in either the short or long term. I will primarily be looking for short term gains, this is because I am impatient and greedy at times and am always looking for a quick buck. Some traders would frown upon this but for me it motivates me to trade quickly and effectively.
I will soon be posting my first public entry and reasons for purchase. In a couple of days there will be a follow-up post with an exit screenshot, if all goes well, profit margins, and an overall debrief of the trade.
I hope to slowly grow this blog into a good community of traders.
